Email Configuration

Set up automatic email notifications to receive form submissions directly in your inbox.

Primary Email Address
The main recipient for form submissions.

Set the primary email address in your form settings. This is where all submission notifications will be sent.

The primary email receives a formatted email containing all submission data with files attached directly.

CC and BCC Recipients
Include additional recipients.

CC (Carbon Copy)

Additional recipients who will see the email. Their addresses will be visible to all recipients.

BCC (Blind Carbon Copy)

Additional recipients who receive the email but whose addresses are hidden from other recipients.

Separate multiple email addresses with commas.

Email Content
What gets included in notification emails.
Form name and submission timestampSubmitter's IP addressAll form field valuesFile attachments included in email

Emails are sent from noreply@submissions.formbeam.io and delivered via Resend for reliable delivery.

Reply-To Address
Where replies go when you respond.

When you reply to a submission email, the reply-to address is automatically set to the submitter's email address (from the email or _email field). This lets you respond directly to the person who filled out your form.

If no email field was included in the submission, replies go to noreply@submissions.formbeam.io.

Email Delivery
Reliability and timing.

Emails are sent immediately upon successful form submission. Delivery is typically instant, but may take up to a few minutes during peak times.

Delivered via Resend (high deliverability)
Auto-Reply
New
Send an automatic confirmation email to form submitters.

Enable auto-reply to automatically send a confirmation email to anyone who submits your form. This helps submitters know their submission was received.

Requirements

  • • Your form must include an email field
  • • The field should be marked required to guarantee delivery
  • • The field name must be exactly email or _email

How it works

  • • Toggle auto-reply on in your form settings
  • • Enter a signature (e.g. "The Acme Team")
  • • Submitters receive a confirmation email after submitting
  • • No usage cost for auto-reply emails

The signature

The signature appears at the bottom of the confirmation email so submitters know who the email is from. This is required when auto-reply is enabled.

What submitters receive

A simple HTML email with your signature and a confirmation message. The email is sent from noreply@submissions.formbeam.io.
